3rd February 2010 - The King's Hospital Headmistress Decides to Retire

Dear Past Pupil

It is with great sadness and regret that I have decided to retire this August and have informed the Chairman of the Board of Governors of my decision.

It is not a decision which I have taken lightly nor without a great deal of heart searching. This summer will see me completing 32 years as a teacher, including seven as Headmistress and two as Deputy Head. Add the six years I have spent in K.H. as a pupil and it adds up to a huge amount of my life!

My decision is based on many factors but my accident last August, and its on-going consequences, were a major focus.

I am very proud of The King's Hospital and very proud to have served as its leader.

I would like to thank the Past Pupils’ Union for all its support and friendship towards me down through the years.

I look forward to seeing you all at the A.G.M. in February.

Best wishes

Frankie Hill
